Flint, MI - HandsOn Genesee, the volunteer center for Genesee County, has announced the winner of its iPad giveaway.

Lynn Marie Latchaw of Flint, a Mott Community College student, is our winner! Congratulations. Julia Zaher, director of HandsOn Genesee, presented Lynn Marie with her prize this week.

In order to promote the use of the new HandsOn Genesee website, www.handsongenesee.org, anyone who became a member and created a volunteer profile by Oct. 15, 2011 was automatically entered into a drawing for an iPad.

Lynn Marie has already used HandsOnGenesee.org to connect with a great volunteer opportunity! She’ll get a lot of great use from this iPad as she completes her college studies.
